The Magic of Meditation!🧘♀️🧘🧘♂️
Years ago I struggled with meditation, I was too stressed to take the time out to do it, which is a contradiction in itself because that is the very time I needed to do it!
About 5 years ago I carved out the time in my day and started meditating daily and committing to it. 🧘♂️🧘♀️
It has changed my life in more ways than one. I do it as I wake after I practice gratitude and either choose free meditation or guided. Meditation can be done in many forms, even practising gratitude or closing your eyes and being still for a few minutes and letting your thoughts flow is meditating. Deep breathing is meditating.
The benefits are:
✅🧘♂️It calms the ‘fight or flight’ which is our sympathetic nervous system and brings us more into our parasympathetic nervous system which helps us to rest and relax.
✅🧘♂️ In this state it is so much more beneficial for us and where we are more creative, innovative and we can think more clearly and focus better.
✅🧘♂️Researchers have shown it lowers risk of depression.
In general it creates a better balance in our lives.
It is the most peaceful part of my day so get meditating and reap the benefits!🧘♀️🧘🧘♂️
