I want to talk to you about Encouragement how important it is to value, believe and praise others, those close to you, those you work with because it helps people be better and feel better.
I take the example of employees in work who have performance appraisal reviews which are annual. Sometimes Managers, Leaders, Supervisors forget to praise or encourage their staff from one end of the year to the other.
Psychologists say that deep down all people have certain desires in common and if you want to encourage people help them fulfil those most basic heartfelt desires which are:
✅If someone wants to do the right thing then stand by/with them.
✅If someone wants to do better then empower them.
✅If someone wants to achieve greatness then motivate them.
✅If someone wants to be recognised for what they have achieved, honour them.
Encourage not discourage.
