Feeling Lonely and what to do!

On Sunday I felt quite lonely, this was due to the fact that I was on my own, my kids were away my partner was working however when I digged deeper I realised I missed Mum and Dad. I spend a good bit of time on my own and am independent so I knew it was something else. Somebody asked me who is your role model in life and both my parents would be and I wrote about Dad and it brought up loneliness and fond memories. To counteract that I allowed myself feel that loneliness and did yoga, went for a swim in the sea and did other activities that really really helped. Sometimes we can be lonely on our own and sometimes we can be lonely amongst a crowd however there are a lot of different tools to use that can help to counteract feeling lonely.
