‘Why is this happening to me??’ Versus ‘What learning can I take from this situation?’
The difference between looking at ‘why did this happen to me??’ and looking at ‘What learning can I take from this situation or experience?’is an important one. Taking the learning from any situation is more proactive, and allows us take ownership and responsibility for the experience. There is a big difference yet subtle between playing victim to our circumstances and learning from them. With each situation and experience do try and take the learning from it.
